The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) is the government organization responsible for all Provincial Government employees' appointments, promotions, and transfers (Except for the Police, Judiciary, and Pakistan Armed Forces). In addition to conducting recruitment tests for specialized secretaries, finance secretaries, tax commissioners, excise commissioners, and others, it also administers periodic tests for public service.

A provincial autonomous and statutory body, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission was established under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincially Administered Tribal Areas Reforms Order, 2001. The commission organizes competitive examinations to select candidates for various posts in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, including both employees and non-employees.

For the first time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's history, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) was established on August 1, 2009, Commission's main objective is to provide better service delivery mechanisms to the masses and to ensure accountability in the workings of the public sector.

KPPSC is the independent provincial body of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan, which is responsible for providing advice to government officials in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.In connection with various employment matters and recruitment examinations for civil servants. Its responsibilities include recruitment procedures and hiring civil servants through recruitment examinations.
